Over the past two years or so, I've become enamored of photography. I love the idea of making pictures, of playing with color and light, of finding that shot and making it my own. I'm not very good at it yet, but with hard work (and thanks to my wife and the incredible Christmas gift she gave me last year), I'll get better.

Here is a small gallery of those black and white images which have worked out, so far, anyway. You'll notice my fascination with my family and friends, as well as with pets. I am a simple man, all told. Plus, I'm lazy, and I don't have to walk very far to shoot them. All were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel, between December 2003 and October 2004.
